Personnel, Renovation Contracts Discussed by Marmaduke Board
Personnel contracts, renovation contracts and the school calendar occupied the majority of the agenda at Monday's monthly meeting of the Marmaduke School Board.
Superintendent Tim Gardner recommended to the board the rehiring of all certified personnel. The board also approved the resignation of the assistant bookkeeper, effective at the end of the school year, and tabled the contract renewal of the remaining classified school employees until the April meeting.

Board approval was given to an adjustment on the current school calendar to allow April 14, Good Friday, to be added as a school holiday. In other business, the board approved the 2017-2018 school calendar.
The board approved the minutes from the previous meeting, approved the financial report, and approved the payment of bills as presented to the board, according to assistant superintendent Keith Richey.
