Delta Jean Crafton
Delta Jean Crafton, 54, of Paragould, Ark., passed away March 28, 2017, at her residence.
She was born on October 11, 1962, in St. Louis, Mo, and was the daughter of Charles and Rose (Stowers) Crafton.
Delta served six years in the United States Army as a Registered Nurse, working in a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital Unit in Germany. Afterward, she worked 13 years as an R.N. after honorably discharging from the Army.
She is survived by her daughter, Briana Gargus and husband Troy of Paragould; a son, Kyle Aaron Johnson of Walnut Ridge, Ark.; her parents, Charles and Rose Crafton of Piggott, Ark.; three grandchildren, Khia Calhoun, Kaden Calhoun and Kennedi Gargus; two sisters, Laveda Whiteside and husband Rocky of Campbell, Mo. and Christine Wall and husband Steve of Walnut Ridge, Ark. and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12 p.m., noon, to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, in the Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, of Piggott. Funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Brother Kevin Murray officiating. Burial in the Piggott Cemetery, Piggott, Ark. Pallbearers are Luke Wall, Steve Wall, Matt Wall, Bryce Whiteside, Troy Gargus and Rocky Whiteside.
