Junior Mohawk Baseball in Action

The Mohawk Junior High baseball team traveled to Imboden Friday and beat Sloan-Hendrix 16-1 in four innings. Eighth grader Austin Fair got the start, allowing only one run, with classmate Tanner Dixon coming on to pitch a scoreless final frame.

The Piggott Junior Mohawks hosted the Rector Junior Cougars in baseball Monday afternoon at Independence Park in a game originally scheduled for this past Saturday. The Piggott squad got a strong performance from Nate Lemmons on the mound, as they beat the Cougars 13-5.

With the win the Piggott Junior Mohawks improve to 4-1, with their next game set for Friday evening at Marmaduke.
