Judith Ann (Hitt) Hensley
Judith Ann (Hitt) Hensley, 71, of Memphis, Tenn., passed away Friday, April 28, 2017, at the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, Tenn.
She was born on October 13, 1945, in Piggott, Ark., and was the daughter of the late Louie and Helen (Sneed) Hitt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Helen Hitt and Judith's infant brother.
Judith graduated from Piggott High School in 1963, from School of the Ozark Junior Class in 1965, and she also graduated from Arkansas State University in 1967. She was a member of Leawood Baptist Church in Memphis, and she was involved in missionary trips in Haiti and Argentina.
Judith is survived by her brother, Marshall Hitt and wife Marilyn of Cordova, Tenn.; niece, Rebekah Louise Frazier and husband Brandon of Summit, Miss.; nephew, Patrick Hitt of Memphis; great nieces, Elana Vaden Frazier and Savannah Alice Frazier; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, with a graveside service following at 11:30 a.m. at Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Ark., with Rondal Richardson officiating. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home, of Piggott, is in charge of the arrangements.
