Fannie Frazier, 94, of Piggott, Ark., passed away May 4, 2017, at the Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett, Mo. She was born on September 22, 1922, in Nimmons, Ark., and was the daughter of the late Charley and Mary Gertie (Ridgeway) Harmon.
She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and worked at General Motors for several years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Frazier; her parents; her sons, Ken Mears and Joe Mears; a daughter-in-law, Susan Mears; her brothers, Lester Harmon, Bob Harmon, Billy George Harmon, Wiliford Harmon, and Don Harmon; and a sister, Lois Verble.
She is survived by her son, Chuck Mears, and wife Judy, of Washington state; a daughter, Elmereda Frazier of Piggott; five grandchildren, Richard, Lee, Mark, Kenny and Jackie; her brothers, Carl Harmon, Tom Harmon, Ed Harmon and Delaine Harmon; a sister, Mary Beth Tikenon, and many other relatives and friends.
She will be missed very much.
Ms. Frazier's wishes were to be cremated. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Ark., was in charge of the arrangements.
The family will hold a memorial graveside service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, at Piggott Cemetery with Bro. Kevin Murray officiating.
