Calvin Edward "Bob" Yow
Calvin Edward “Bob” Yow, 73, of Pevely, Mo., passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017, at his home. He was born February 15, 1944, in Piggott, Ark., the son of the late Dovie (nee Holifield) and Henry Yow.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa (nee Burgess) Yow; his daughters, Carolyn (Rick) Allender of Fenton, Mo. and Amanda Kayser of Belleville, Ill.; his sons, Louis (Kassondra) Yow of Ellis Grove, Ill., Tyler Yow of Pevely and Jason Kayser of Springfield, Ill.; a sister, Jo Ann (the late Walter) Glass of Piggott; a brother, Ray (Betty) Yow of House Springs, Mo.; and twelve grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, John Yow.
He was a plant supervisor for Industrial Engineering in Brentwood, Mo., a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of American Legion #253 in Festus, Mo.
A graveside memorial service, with full military honors, will be held at 12 noon Saturday, May 27, at Cummings Chapel Cemetery, located at Pollard, Ark.
Memorials in his name are preferred to the Wounded Warrior Project.
