Rilla M. Cox
Rilla M. Cox, 91 of Campbell, Mo., passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Rector Nursing Home in Rector, Ark.
Mrs. Cox, daughter of James Carl McDaniel and Anna Grace (Goodman) Rudisill, was born on Monday, September 28, 1925 in Hatfield, Ind.
She was a Bookkeeper for Cox Lumber Company; a reporter for the Campbell Courier and was a member of the Campbell General Baptist Church.
On April 25, 1942 in Charleston, Mo., she was united in marriage to William Randall Cox. He preceded her in death on October 4, 1998.
Her survivors include four children, Bonnie Williams, and husband Delmer, of Arnold, Mo., Randall Dwight Cox, and wife MaryLou, of Stanley, N.C., Curtis N. Cox, and wife Theresa, of Port Charlotte, Fla. and Jane Beasley, and husband Danny, of Clarkton, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Randy Williams, Terri Williams, Stephanie Cox, Greg Cox, Heather Cox, Chris Cox, Kendall Beasley, Daniel Beasley and Amanda Henke; fourteen great-grandchildren and one half-sister, Lois Jane Todd of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Carl McDaniel; mother and step-father, Anna Grace Goodman Rudisill and Garrett Rudisill and one step-sister, Margaret Jones.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, Monday, June 5, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell. Funeral services will follow at noon, with Rev. Darren Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.
