Gerald Monroe Lamb
Gerald Monroe Lamb, 77, of Rector, Ark., passed away Monday, June 19, 2017, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, Jonesboro, Ark.
Mr. Lamb was born January 18, 1940, in Clay County, Ark., to the late Clyde and Olar Lamb. An Army veteran, he retired from Emerson Electric and was a member of First Baptist Church of Rector. He was also a member of the Kennett VFW and the Eagles Club of Kennett.
Survivors include one son, Bobby (Rita) Ball of Walcott, Ark.; three daughters, Debbie Adams and fiancÚ, Tim Voth, of Brookland, Ark., Judy (Bill) McCoy of Paragould, Ark. and Tracie Ball and life partner, Ray Moore, of Sicklerville, N.J.; one brother, Joey (Betty) Lamb of Rector; and one sister, Joyce (Don) Huckabay of Lafe, Ark. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Kelly Moore, Craig Hazelwood, Clinton Engle, Lauren Adams, Brandon Featherston, Allen Lenderman, Jasmine Lenderman, Erica Gonzalez and Tre' Gonzalez; 10 great-grandchildren and is expecting his first great-great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Lamb, in 2013.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 23, at the Mitchell Funeral Home
chapel in Rector, with Mark Trout and Holly Jo Engle officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery, Rector. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector.
Bobby Ball, Clinton Engle, Brandon Featherston, Tre' Gonzalez, Allen Lenderman, Blake Moore, Alex Hazelwoood and Larry Huckabay will serve as pallbearers.
