FEMA Now Accepting Applications From Flood Victims

Thursday, June 22, 2017

Last week the federal government approved the disaster declaration for a number of Arkansas counties, including Clay County. As a result, individuals may now apply for disaster assistance from FEMA—and there are three ways they can access the application. Those affected may apply by phone at 1-800-621-3362; online at www.disasterassistance.gov or by way of a web-enabled device via the FEMA app or at m.fema.gov

Information required includes a contact phone number, current mailing address, Social Security number, address of the affected property, description of the damage and pertinent insurance information including any policy numbers.

Clay County residents wanting additional information may call the Office of Emergency Management at 870 598-5365.
