Jeremy Robert Green
August 4, 2017, was a day that many will never forget. A very special man, known to many as Jeremy Green, Romie or even J1 left this world. He came into this world on December 28, 1978 and not even knowing that his life would be cut short, he lived it to the fullest. He met it with a smile and had everyone smiling with him.
He was born to the late Robert Green and Cheryl Grays in Rockford, Ill. Later, the family moved back to the Rector area where he grew up alongside his many cousins having fun as country boys do.
He is survived by the lights of his world, his children: Kimber and Hanley Green of Marmaduke; his mother, Cheryl Grays of Deering, Mo.; his brothers and their wives, Jason and Anna Green of St. Peters, Mo., Nick and Christa Green of Rector and Luke and Danielle Green of Crockett; a sister, Billie Hartgrove of Arnold, Mo. and many other relatives and friends.
The day ended without Jeremy Green in it, and to many it will never be the same. He was a father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, golf buddy, pilot, hunter, friend, smart aleck, one of a kind guy who was loved by many and will always be missed.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, at the Irby Funeral Home in Marmaduke. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel with David Flannery officiating. Interment will be in the Harvey's Chapel Cemetery.
