The Clay County Arts Council has announced tickets are now on sale for an upcoming inaugural event: Fall Extravaganza. The CCAC-sponsored event will showcase current fashion trends for women, men, and children; offer a delicious down-home catered meal and feature a huge variety of silent auction items donated to support scholarships and grants. Also on tap are a number of fun offerings, including live music and a photo booth for everyone.

This year's fall fundraiser for the CCAC will be held beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Piggott Community Center. During the event the CCAC will offer a festive evening for all.

Currently, fashion models are being engage by local retail shops and Madpie's has been booked to cater the evening. Tapestry, a favorite singing duo from Rector, will entertain the crowd.

Already, merchants and CCAC members have donated items for the silent auction. Cindy McComb is chairing the event, with CCAC board members following her lead in an effort to provide a great evening to inaugurate the 2017-2018 season. Membership letters have also been mailed and Tracy Cole, acting president of the organization, is receiving memberships mailed to PO Box #3, Rector, Ark. Memberships may also be renewed at the Fall Extravaganza.

Individual memberships to support CCAC programming are $35 each and family memberships for two individuals is $50.

Tickets for the Fall Extravaganza are $25 for members and $30 for non-members. They're available in Piggott at The Nest and Madpies and in Rector at Honeysuckle and Home and the Water Department. Lisa Jett has tickets available for those in the Corning area. Tickets may also be reserved at the will-call by calling Cole at 901 496-5000. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
