The Rector Lady Cougars split a pair of games in the past week, beating Marked Tree for their first win of the season Thursday evening at home then falling at Armorel on Monday night.
The RHS girls got off to a strong start in the home game with Marked Tree, and enjoyed a 17-10 lead at intermission. They enjoyed an advantage of 22-16 by the end of three quarters, as they went on to post to the non-conference win.

The Junior Lady Cougars also won their game with Marked Tree, riding a 22 point night from Ellie Ford to a 36-33 decision. With the win they remained undefeated at 3-0.
The Lady Cougars traveled to Armorel Monday night and dropped a 42-28 conference decision to the Lady Tigers. They were slated to take on Maynard on Tuesday evening, but due to deaths related to the Tiger team the games were called off and will be rescheduled. They're scheduled to host the Hillcrest Lady Screamin' Eagles on Thursday evening at RHS and will visit Sloan-Hendrix on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
