The Piggott Lady Mohawks continue to look for their first win of the young season, after dropping games to Cave City and Maynard in the past week.

Last Friday the Lady Mohawks hosted Cave City, along with the boys teams, and dropped all three games. In the early contest the seventh grade squad fell 17-15 despite 12 points from Piggott's Emma Langley. In the junior high game Claire Bellers had 9 for the Tribe, as they fell 27-11 to the visiting Cave Women.

In the varsity contest the Cave City girls rolled over the Lady Mohawks by a final of 54-20.

Jumping out to a 17-6 lead after the first, the visitors extended the lead to 27-12 by the break and led 39-14 entering the fourth quarter. Sierra Williams led all scorers for the Cave Women, with Taylor Seal scoring 9 points to pace the Tribe.

Monday night the girls traveled to Maynard for a non-conference set with the boys teams, and fell to the talented Lady Tigers 68-25.

All three teams are scheduled to be in action this Friday, Dec.8, as they visit the Walnut Ridge Lady Bobcats in conference play. Next Monday, Dec. 11, they're slated to visit Armorel and on Thursday, Dec. 14, the Pocahontas Lady Redskins visit PHS.
