Marmaduke Superintendent Announces Retirement

Members of the Marmaduke School Board were informed of the impending retirement of Superintendent Tim Gardner at their regular meeting Monday night. His retirement will be effective Jan. 29, 2018. Gardner has been the superintendent at Marmaduke since May of 2007, and has served the district for nearly 11 years.

In other business, the board unanimously approved a legal transfer for a student from Green County Tech into the Marmaduke School District.

Additionally, the board discussed and approved their six-year master plan, which is designed to help keep them on track financially and academically.
