Darlene Marie Osier
Darlene Marie Osier, 48, of Rector, Ark., passed away February 18, 2018, after a strong and courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 10, 1970, in New Bedford, Mass., to Theresa (Sylvia) Pereira.
Darlene was known by many as the Bakery Deli Manager at Harps where she always met you with a smile and kind words. To her family and close friends, she was known as a superstar who conquered everything she possibly could. She was a lady who was beautiful inside and out and who loved her family beyond measure and was always there for them. Her love will live on through them.
Darlene was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Albertine Sylvia; her Godmother, Flo Sylvia, and her mother-in-law, Brenda Babb.
She is survived by her loving husband, William Osier; her daughter and special friend, Samantha Seymour and Jonathon Sanders of Rector; her grandchildren, Christian Scott, Jaylene Scott, Deneva Scott and Brantley Stidham all of Rector; her mother, Theresa Pereira of Sebring, Fla.; her father, James Pereira of Auburndale, Fla.; her sisters and spouses, Sheryl Sylvia and Silvia Guerra-Sylvia of Sebring, Fla., Stefanie and Valentine Badillo of Auburndale, Fla. and Loretta Pereira of Rector; her in-laws, Alfred and Darlene Osier; her nieces and nephews, James Blankenberg of Florida, Curtis and Lily Pereira of Rector, Tyler Douglas of Rector, William Douglas of Rector, Jasmine Badillo of Florida, Destiny Douglas of Florida, Britney Leach of Kentucky, Bryan Edward of Florida, Rick Smith of Florida, and Melissa Smith of Florida; her Godfather, Joseph Sylvia; her aunt, Sandra Nelson; the father of her daughter, Dennis Seymour Jr. and numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at the Irby Funeral Home, in Rector, with the service beginning at 1. Interment will be at the Woodland Heights Cemetery, Rector.
