Clay County Man Killed in Saturday's Storms

Clay County, and much of the central part of the country, continues to clean up from Saturday's severe weather. The strong storms which swept through the region are being blamed for one local death, as an elderly Corning-area man died when his mobile home was destroyed.

According to Clay County Sheriff Terry Miller, the victim was Albert Foster, 83. He was reportedly killed when his home was blown into a nearby pond due to tornadic activity.

Damage was also reported at a number of other locations in the county, along with Keiser and Osceola in Mississippi County. As of last report damage estimates were still being compiled
