Piggott Chamber of Commerce Recognizes "Proudest Kid"

The winners of the annual Piggott Area Chamber of Commerce essay contest, “Proudest Kid in Piggott” were recognized Monday at PES. This year's first place entry came from Brileigh Daniels while Belle Lovelace was second and Isabella Woods third. Brileigh is a member of Tammy Gordon's class, Belle is in Jessica Robertson's class and Isabella is in Andrea Coomer's class at Piggott Elementary. They were presented with prize money and certificates then accompanied Mayor Jim Poole and chamber president Nikki Blue to lunch, accompanied by PES principal Brock Swann and teacher Jessica Robertson.

At the kid's request, they enjoyed lunch at Los Compadres.
