Debby Pence, 60, of Corning, Ark., passed away March 16, 2018, at St. Bernardís Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born October 15, 1957, in Jonesboro, Debby was a retired florist. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, watching HGTV, bossing people around, spending time with grandkids and attending grandkids sporting events. She was of the Christian Faith.
On Oct. 19, 1973, she married her husband, David E. Pence. He preceded her in death March 14, 2016.
Survivors include her children, Shonda Pence, Logan Pence and Sharia (Tim) Shipman, all of Corning; her mother, Helen Pierce of Corning; her grandchildren, Ali Pence, Justin Pence, Landon Berry, Makenna Shipman, Layla Pence, Whitney Edwards and Justin (Karla) Whitman; along with her great-grandchildren, Jolie and Carter Edwards and Tucker Whitman.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Jug Pence; father Donald Pierce; and brother David Pierce.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel, Corning, with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the service in Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 19, at the funeral home.
