Greyhounds to Play in Sun Senior Classic

The rosters for the upcoming Sun Senior Classic have been announced and two Marmaduke Greyhounds will be playing. The games will be played at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, in Don Riggs Hurricane Gym at Jonesboro High School. Proceeds from the gate benefit the Jonesboro Sun's Newspaper in Education Program.

Piggott grad Jason Smith, of Nettleton High School, will coach the girls white team while Riverside coaching legend Spencer Hoffman will coach the blue team. On the blue team roster will be all-state Lady Greyhound Natalie Lentz.

Wes Swift of Jonesboro will coach the boys white team, and on his roster will be another MHS all-stater, Derek Agee. Coaching the blue team will be another iconic regional coach, as Barbara Wilburn of Marked Tree will lead the squad.

Tickets are $5 each and will be available at the door.
