Piggott grad Josh Lyman has been recognized with another postseason honor for his play on the Mohawk baseball team. Lyman, who was instrumental in helping the Tribe to regional and state play this year, has been chosen as a member of the Best Under the Sun squad by the area newspaper.

Chosen as a utility player, Lyman was selected for his oustanding pitching as a member of the Mohawks—and a good season at the plate as well.

On the season he worked over 41 innings, striking out 55 batters while recording an ERA of 2.40.

Lyman was the only local player named to the honor, although Corning's Mason Silberstein was also selected along with players from a number of other regional teams.
