Rector Labor Day 5K Set

Early registrations are now being accepted for the Rector Labor Day 5K, set to begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1. The event, which benefits the Rector Helping Hands Foundation, will begin in front of the Rector High School gymnasium.

Registration for those 14 years, and older, will be $20 if received on or before Friday, Aug. 17, while the fee for those 13 years, and under, will be $10 if received by that date. The $10 early registration fee also applies to all students of the Rector School District, if they enter by Aug. 17. Organizers also noted all those who enter prior to the early deadline are guaranteed an event t-shirt in the correct size.

Registrations received after Aug. 17, and those made the day of the event, will be $25 and organizers cannot guarantee that t-shirts will be available to those entering after the deadline.

Early race packet pick-up will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, at the RHS gym.
