Rosetta Garner, 74, of Pollard, Ark., passed away August 5, 2018, in Pollard, Ark.
She was born on June 29, 1944, in Greenway, Ark., and was the daughter of Harry and Nora (Fry) Massey.
Rosetta was united in marriage to Doyle Garner on March 6, 1963.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Massey; her father, Harry Massey; grandson, Ethan Ivy; a brother, Alvie Massey and a brother, Barney Massey.
Survivors include her husband, Doyle Garner of Pollard, Ark.; a son, Doyle Lynn Garner of Piggott, Ark.; a daughter, Tonya Ann Ivy of Rosebud, Mo.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry Massey of Piggott, Ark.; a brother, Gary Massey of Bloomfield, Mo.; a sister, Grace Ann Jorman of Piggott, Ark., a sister, Pat Aldridge of Springdale, Ark.; a sister, Shirley Massey; a sister, Beverly Herren of Lafe, Ark., a sister, Sandy Gunn of Piggott, Ark., and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9, at the Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home, in Piggott, with Bro. Doug Clinton officiating. Burial is in the Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Ark. Pallbearers are Brett Rea, Scott Speer, Shawn Ivy Jr., Barney Massey, Juan Tinsley, Amanda Rea and Alan Massey. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home, of Piggott, is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott.
