Mother Nature determined the outcome of the junior high football contest between the Cougars and Mohawks, played Thursday, Aug. 30, at Temerian Field in Rector. Going into the halftime break tied at 0-0, the game was then called due to lightning and an approaching thunderstorm.

Both squads will be back in action this week, with the Mohawk hosting EPC at Parker Field while the Cougars will take on Corning on the road.
