Mohawk Golfer Langley Qualifies for State

Mohawk golfer Isaac Langley qualified for the state 3A golf meet last week, as the PHS squad took third in the 3A-3 golf tournament at Thunder Bayou in Blytheville.

The Manila Lions took the title with a 244, paced by medalist Brock Birmingham with a three-over-par round of 75. The Trumann Wildcats were second with a 255 while the Mohawks carded 260 and Tuckerman was fourth with a 264.

The 3A state golf tournament will be played on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Burns Park Golf Course, North Little Rock.
