CCAC Tour of Homes Held
Thanks to the efforts of the Clay County Arts Council, a popular holiday offering made a return for this Christmas season. Sunday afternoon, despite colder-than-average-weather, the Holiday Home Tour was held at three locations in the Piggott area.
The fundraiser showcased the home of Dr. Randy and Cindy McComb; the Christina and Kyle Cox residence and the Matilda and Karl Pfeiffer Museum. Each of the homes was decorated in seasonal finery, and tickets were sold which were good at all three locations. Refreshments were also served to those attending.
Christina and Kyle Cox hosted one of the stops, along with the McCombs—as they shared their new home west of the city. Meanwhile, the former Pfeiffer home was decorated for the season by Claire Rouse and Julie Mobley, daughters of Don and Janet Roeder, with assistance from the museum staff. Also taking part in the tour at that location was museum trustee Don Roeder and staff member Ella Jean Mack.
All proceeds from the event benefited the CCAC, and their continuing work in promoting the arts in Clay County. Organizers also offered their thanks to those who participated, and all those who attended, Sunday's event.
