David Boyster, 66, of Pollard, Ark., passed away January 29, 2019, at Pollard.
He was born on June 15, 1952, in Newport, and was the son of Lawrence "Duck Boyster" and Ruby (Keen) Boyster.
He was united in marriage to Debra Fay Smith on March 4, 1971, and to this union three sons were born.
David retired from Waxler Towing Company as First Mate Tankerman.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Debra Boyster; his father, Lawrence "Duck" Boyster; his mother, Ruby Boyster; a son, Donavon Boyster; and a granddaughter, Illyana Boyster.
Survivors include his sons, Jason Boyster of Pollard and Byron (Lucinda) Boyster of Cardwell, Mo.; grandchildren, Ashley, Conner and Greydon; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Layton; sister, Sharon (Wendell) Jackson of St. Louis, Mo.; his beloved dog, Oden "Odie" Bearshirt; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3, at the Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Ark. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home, of Piggott, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday at Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in Piggott.
