The junior Lady 'Hounds also took the early game, beating the Rector girls 47-39. Pacing the home team was Madison Wolfenbarger with 16 while Tori Sutherland led the winners with 13.

Monday night the Melbourne Lady Bearkatz visited RHS and continued to roll through the season as they notched a 77-23 conference win.

With the loses the Rector girls fall to 11-12 overall and 2-9 in 2A-3 conference play. Wednesday, Jan. 30, they were scheduled to make up a set at Salem. Thursday evening they're slated to visit Maynard and Friday evening the squad will host the Piggott Lady Mohawks for this year's senior night.

The junior district is set for next week at Buffalo Island Central, with the senior district to follow and also at BIC.
