Mohawk Langley Signs with Crowley's Ridge College
Piggott High School was the site of a signing ceremony last week as multi-sport athlete Isaac Langley inked to attend Crowley's Ridge College and play golf for the Pioneers. Flanked by his family, Mohawk Coach Alan Rabjohn and CRC golf coach Zach Perrin, the PHS senior laid the groundwork for the next four years.
Langley has been a staple on the Mohawk golf team throughout high school, qualifying for the state tournament as both a junior and a senior. Last year he also proved to be an impact player for the Mohawk football team, and during the winter months he showed his skills as a basketball player for the Tribe and has been a member of the PHS weight lifting team as well.
“I was looking for players and Isaac is a perfect fit for us,” Perrin said of the signing. “And, I think we're the perfect fit for him.
Langley's mother, Kyra, also offered words of thanks to his high school teammates and coaches for their support and encouragement. He was also accompanied by his father, Jared, and younger sister Emma.
Langley will be joining a CRC team which currently boasts two Clay County players, as former Rector Cougar standout Kade Scott and former Mohawk Mazin Chase are members of the squad.
