Tribe Baseball Update

Thursday, April 18, 2019

The Mohawk baseball squad pounded Osceola last Tuesday, dropped a double-header in conference to Gosnell on Wednesday, and were shut-out by Manila on Monday. Tuesday they were slated to host Trumann in a key conference game.

The Tribe completed the home-and-away with the Seminoles with a 10-0 win last Tuesday. The following day they took on the Gosnell Pirates in a twin-bill, falling 4-1 in the first game and coming up short 20-14 in a slugfest in the nightcap.

Monday afternoon they visited Manila, with the Lions scoring a run in each of the first three innings as they posted a 3-0 win. With the loss the Mohawks fell to 8-8 overall and 7-8 in conference. They're currently in sixth, a game back in the loss column to Rivercrest, and just ahead of Trumann.
