Alvis Turner, 68, of Van Buren, Ark., passed away Monday, April 22, 2019, at his home.
He was born December 17, 1950, in Piggott, Ark.
He was a retired electrical engineer with Mac Steel, and served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvis Turner; and his wife, Regina.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Fournier of Farmington, Ark. and Leah McCoy of Van Buren, Ark.; his mother, Delora Turner of Piggott, Ark.; two sisters, Rhonda Turner of Piggott and Elisa Miller of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Kerry and Jackie Turner, both of Piggott; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 10, at the Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in Piggott. Visitation will be held beginning at noon on Friday, May 10, and will continue until the time of the service, at Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Ark.
