Updated Schedule for District Court

Due to the continuing issues with the COVID-19 virus, officials have once-again rescheduled district court in Clay County. This is the court for traffic offenses, misdemeanors and fine reviews and is held each month at Piggott, Rector and Corning.

Cases scheduled at Rector for March 17, April 7, April 21 and May 5 will now be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19. Cases to be heard at Piggott on March 17, April 21 and May 5, will now be heard at noon on Tuesday, May 19. Meanwhile, the cases slated for Corning for March 24, April 14, April 28 and May 12 will now be heard beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26. Court officials also noted they would continue to monitor the situation, and will adjust the schedule as needed in the weeks to come. Those wanting additional information may call the District Court Clerk in Piggott at 870 598-2265 or the clerk's office in Corning at 870 857-0115. Those wanting to inquire about Rector cases may do so Monday through Wednesday by calling 870 595-9805.
