Linda Sue (Cavaness) Parrish
Linda Sue (Cavaness) Parrish, 73, of Marmaduke, Ark., passed from the cares of this life to be with Jesus on Thursday November 12, 2020, at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark. She was born on May 6, 1947 in Rector, Ark., to the late Raymond and Pearl (Davidson) Cavaness. She was a member of the White Oak General Baptist Church and retired from Emerson Electric. She loved cooking for her family, working in her flower beds, especially her roses, quilting and sewing and enjoyed spending time with her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Terry Kyle Huckabay; her brothers, Jerry, Donald and Ronald Cavaness; and her sisters, Freeda Midkiff, Shala Jones, Becky Floyd and Dorothy Parrish.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Earl Parrish of Marmaduke; three daughters, Star (Roger) Cagle, Cindy (Mike) Tucker and Angie (John) Huckabay all of Paragould Ark.; special son, Chad (Krista) Agee; grandchildren, Brandy (Josh) Rogers, Kristin (Craig) Morton, Mckenzie Cagle, Whitney (Neal) Thrash, Katelyn Tucker and Trace Huckabay; special grandsons, Derek and Andy Agee; great-grandchildren, Brantley Rogers, Leni Rogers, Brinkley Morton, Ryker Morton, Rylan Thrash and Peyton Thrash; one brother, Raymond Jr. and Veda Mae Cavaness of Rector; two sisters, Narine (Barry) Shields and Vodine (Neil) Stallings, all of Marmaduke; along with a host of other special relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday Nov. 15, at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Interment will be in Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the White Oak General Baptist Church.
