Kenneth Wilton Argo
Mr. Kenneth Wilton Argo, age 87, of Jonesboro, Ark., passed away from this life on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Graveside services for Mr. Argo were conducted on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer, Tenn.
He was born June 22, 1933, in Greenfield, Tenn., the son of the late Azell Argo and Ethel Drewry.
On Oct. 2, 1954, Kenneth married the love of his life, Ernestine (Tina) Davidson.
Kenneth spent his career working for Brown Shoe Company. He was a supervisor when he retired for his new position, as a fisherman on Kentucky Lake in Paris, Tenn., and enjoying his retirement with his wife.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Ernestine Argo; his daughter, Debbie McEwen (Robert) of Anchorage, Alaska; two grandsons, Grant Lafe Cate (Megan) of Alaska and David Wilton Argo, Jr. (Julie) of Jonesboro; three granddaughters, Samantha McEwen of Anchorage, Callie McEwen of Seattle, Wash. and Sara Argo-Price of South Carolina; four great-granddaughters, Lexi Sides, Baleigh Argo, Caleigh Argo and Amelia Thompson, all of Jonesboro; two great-grandsons, Ethan David Wilton Argo, III of Jonesboro and Joshua Hobbs-McEwen of Anchorage; and a special great-grandson-in-law, Devin Sides of Jonesboro, who helped care for him and talked fishing with him at the villa.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Wilton Argo, and his parents.
