Bill Holt, 83, of Campbell, Mo., formerly of Piggott, Ark., passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020, in Campbell. He was born on August 8, 1937, in Blytheville, Ark., and was the son of the late Freeman and Ruby (Cole) Holt and step-mother Lula Cole Holt.
He was united in marriage to Loretta Jean Parks June 3, 1961, and to this union two daughters were born. Loretta preceded him in death December 2013. He married Mary Helen Brehm on Aug. 15, 2015.
Bill was a carpenter by trade and an avid collector of many things.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother; brothers and sisters, Pauline Settlemoir, L.B. Holt, Raymond Holt, Inez Runyon and Parker Holt.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; daughters, Donna Whaley and husband David of Douglas, Ga. and Terry Finley and husband David of Piggott, Ark.; grandchildren, David C. Whaley and wife Samantha of Charlotte, N.C., Aaron Whaley and friend Olivia of Warner Robins, Ga., Sarah Reagan and husband Tanner of Piggott and Rebecca Finley of Piggott; great grandchildren, David Lloyd and Katelyn Whaley of Charlotte N.C.; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Robertson of Piggott.
Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home, of Piggott, is in charge of the cremation arrangements. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
