Darrell Simpson, 78 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Lakeside Nursing Home in Lake City, Arkansas.

Darrell was born and raised in Piggott, Arkansas. He graduated from Piggott High School and attended the University of Arkansas.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, R.A. and Edith Simpson, brother, Dewon Simpson, grandson Jaxton Kennedy, and his beloved partner, Kaye Morris Simpson.

Darrell is survived by his sister, Dian Foltz (John) of Jonesboro, brother Doyle Dean Simpson of Batesville, four daughters, Lacey

Beach (John) of Southaven, Mississippi, Stefanie Crockett (Matt) of Ponchatoula, Louisana, Alexandra Simpson and Nathalie Kennedy of Jonesboro, fifteen grandchildren, Matthew Beach, Avery Grayce Simpson, Lincoln Bennett, Toby Crockett, Ryder Crockett, Lennox Jones, Foxx Finley, Fender Finley, Molly Finley, Jax Finley, Izzy Finley, Adaleigh Kennedy, Evie Kate Kennedy, Riggins Kennedy, and Reeves Kennedy. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends Visitation was held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 1 p.m. and memorial service at 2 p.m. at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia, Mississippi with Bro. John Shackleford officiating.
