Mary Ann Crowson
Mary Ann Crowson, 75, of Piggott, Ark., passed away September 1, 2022, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott.
She was born on June 16, 1947, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., and was the daughter of Jack B. and Dorothy (Moore) Beakley.
Mary Ann was united in marriage to Stephen Crowson on June 26, 1970.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Crowson and her parents.
Mary Ann is survived by her two daughters: Karla Mayo and husband James of Alexander, Ark., and Kim Poposky and husband Louis of Maumelle, Ark.; three grandsons: Max Mayo, Mason Mayo, and Andrew Poposky; granddaughter, Stephanie Poposky; greatgrandson, Jaxon Ryan; and many other relatives and friends.
Mary Ann worked 41 years as Librarian/Media Specialist for the Piggott School District. She was a longtime member of Hitts Chapel General Baptist Church in Piggott. She enjoyed scrapbooking and gardening.
She was an avid Razorback and Cardinal fan.
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, with Bro. Charles Richardson officiating. Burial was in Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge, Ark. Pallbearers were Mike Morgan, Michael Morgan, Jon Conley, Scott Wilson, Gaylon Rogers, Blaine Davis, and Brent Carr. Also all grandsons were honorary pallbearers. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements. Visitation was held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott.
