Recent days: both difficult and inspiring

  • I will say again as I have said for all these sad days. God Bless the good people of Clay Co. Arkansas.Some people say"Why would anyone want to live in such a small town."? These last 10 days show you why.

  • The residents of Rector should all be very proud of themselves! It was amazing how neighbors helped each other out during the two weeks when many of us didn't have heat, lights, hot water, etc. Neighbors came to my house to make coffee and cook meals and then shared heat so I could thaw out a little. The feeling of community is only one of the reasons that I chose to make Rector my home after retiring. Thank you all for being the caring community that I have grown to love.
