Piggott PACE students compete in Project Fair

Piggott fifth and sixth grade PACE students competed in the Project Fair, sponsored by the Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative on May 16. The students researched a topic of interest and presented their project to a panel of judges. The students were scored on research and organization, creativity, interview and overall project.

JACKSON RETIRES FROM COURTHOUSE

A retirement reception for Della Jackson was held Friday, May 6 at the Piggott courthouse. Della has worked in the Sheriff and Collectors Office for 21 years. She commented, “I will miss all the people.” In addition to being presented a plaque, she received other gifts and was treated to a delicious cake, punch and other food.
