Donald Lee “Don” Bolton, 62, of Rector, Ark., passed away on April 4, 2024, in Rector. He was born on April 23, 1961, in Pontiac, Mich.

Don was a loving husband, father, son, and brother.

He is survived by his wife Loren; children: Cheche, Lorean, and JL; grandchildren: Xayah and Genesis; stepson, Josh Nelms; mother, Betty Jean Snyder; siblings: Deborah Bradford and Chuck Bolton, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Donald Bolton, his sister, Cerilla Ann Doyle, and his grandparents.

Don attended elementary school in Rector and graduated high school in Eureka Springs, Ark. He then went on to serve in the United States Marine Corp. Following his military service, Don pursued a career as an Oil Filtration Expert with Pro T Services in Louisiana, where he thoroughly enjoyed working on the oil rig in the Gulf.

Don was a Christian and enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, hunting, and boating.

Memorial services to honor his life will be held at a date to be determined later.
