Glenda Sue Ladyman

Glenda Sue Ladyman, 57 passed away September 5, 2023 in Jonesboro. Glenda was born in Knob, Ark., on January 27, 1966 to Cecil and Lavern Ladyman.

Glenda graduated from Rector High School in 1994. She attended Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge and ASU where she obtained a degree in Accounting. She lived in Little Rock until the last several years. She worked at Farm Bureau in Little Rock, a job she truly enjoyed until her health wouldn’t allow her to work. She was a Missionary Baptist. She loved dogs, she enjoyed word search puzzles, watching CSI and NCIS, reading and cooking when she was able. She was proud of her lasagna.

She was preceded in death by her father Cecil Ladyman and mother Lavern Rogers Ladyman, two brothers, Charles and Carl Ladyman.

She is survived by her brothers: Paul Ladyman, Donald and his wife Retha Ladyman; nieces, Janet Fair and husband Tim, Jennifer Hobbs and husband Shayne, Jennifer Amos and Heather Johnson; great nieces and nephews: Brittany Fair, Brett Fair, Bianca Hobbs, Tanner Baker, Caden Toombs, Morgan May and husband Taylor, and Madison Amos.

Visitation was held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector with the service starting at 11 a.m. Interment followed at the Woodland Heights Cemetery.
