Joseph Daniel McKuin

Joseph Daniel McKuin, 38 of Rector, passed from this world on September 3, 2023 at the NEA Baptist Hospital. Joey was born to James and Debra (Schmidt) McKuin in Mendota, Ill. His favorite times were spent with his family. They had many happy times and lots of good memories. Joey was a gun lover, a good fisherman and enjoyed his country road riding.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: James and Wanda McKuin.

He is survived by his parents: James and Debra McKuin of Rector; his sister and brother-inlaw: Amanda and Eric Patrick of Campbell; niece and nephew: Mabrey and Connor Patrick; his maternal grandparents: Clifford and Janet Schmidt of Mendota, Ill.; aunts: Connie and Pete Krzmarzick of Plover, Wis., Donald and Dave Carr of Havana, Ill., along with a host of other family and friends.

Visitation was held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector. Funeral services began at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment was at the Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
