Laverne Renard, 97, of Piggott, Ark., passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015, in the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark. She was born January 31, 1918, to the late Alfred and Mary (Huff) Morgan in the Rector area. Mary Morgan passed away three days after Laverne was born. Alfred took care of Laverne for two years then was unable to take care of her. The late Will and Joy Evans then took her, and raised Laverne...
