NEAITC coordinator asks for help

Wednesday, March 25, 2009

To the Editor:

The Northeast Arkansas Innovative Training Center (NEAITC) is slowly making progress. We encourage anyone who is looking for work to apply with the Workforce Center in Paragould and ask for Kim Holley. Applicants must meet certain financial and eligibility standards to become eligible to work through Workforce, however they are currently looking to place several persons in the Clay County area, including the NEAITC.

We still have much work to do, but plan to open the facility April 6 and have a grand opening when the facility phase I is completed. We are currently asking the community to help. Though we have some equipment for the wellness center, we are in need of treadmills, cable pulley type fitness equipment and racks for dumb bell and bar bells.

Anyone interested in offering tutoring and/or specialty programs after school that is certified are encourage to get in touch with the center. We would also like to stress that any donations or any future fees associated with the NEAITC will be used strictly for community and economic development in your community.

Help us grow our community and begin to be proactive instead of reactive. You may contact me at 595-3035 or email: Jacinda.welch@gmail.com for more information. You may also visit our in progress website for updates at www.neaitc.org. Together we can make a difference. Let's make it happen!
