Janice Miller, 63, of Corning, Ark., passed away July 6, 2020, at the Flo & Phil Hospice House, in Jonesboro, Ark., surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Miller was born February 25, 1957, in Corning. She worked for Corning School District while wearing many hats including teacher’s aide and bus driver. Most recently, she was the food service director for the district. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, traveling, cooking and taking care of the kids. She was a member of the local Lion’s Club and Success First Baptist Church.
On April 8, 1977, she married Terry Miller, and they recently celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary.
In addition to her husband, other survivors include her daughters, Amanda (Nicholas) Sutfin of Pocahontas, Ark., and Jennifer (Stanley) Benson of Piggott, Ark.; her dad, Milburn Teasley of Corning; mother-in-law, Imogene Miller of Corning; a sister, Beth (Les) McCollum of Batesville, Ark.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Sylvia (Burk) Teasley; a daughter, Jessica Miller; and her father-in-law, Gordon Miller.
A Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday July 9, at Nelson Cemetery, in Reyno, with Rev. Logan McCourtney and Rev. Wayne Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home.
