Deleta Faye Causey
Deleta Faye Causey, 84, of Piggott, Ark., passed away July 11, 2020, at General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott. She was born on April 5, 1936, in Holly Island, Ark., and was the daughter of F. O. and Lena (Cullum) Gibson.
Faye was united in marriage to Delmar Ray Causey on July 14, 1956.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, F. O. Gibson and Lena Mae Gibson; daughter, Pamela Jean Eason; and a brother, Leland Gibson.
Survivors include her husband, Delmar Ray Causey of Piggott; daughter, Jerri Leigh (Jeffrey) Tate of Piggott, daughter, Jennifer (Dennis) Combs of Jonesboro, Ark., daughter, Lisa Capps of Newport News, Va., daughter, Paula (Shane) Lerma of Paragould, Ark., son Darrell Causey of Piggott; son-in-law Mike Eason of Piggott; grandsons, Joshua Eason, Zach Gower, Keifer Causey, Kyler Capps, Joseph Miller, Jacob Miller and Asher Lerma; granddaughters, Jenna Matthews, Jillian Laboy, Fallon McChristian, Brittany Baker, Jerica Heath, Kinsey Lerma and Jordan Tate; brothers, Jerry Gibson and Larry Gibson; and many other relatives and friends.
She loved caring for others, baking, cooking, sewing and singing.
Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 13, at the South Thornton Church of Christ, in Piggott, with Bro. Jeremy Pierce and Dustin Semore officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Ark. Pallbearers were Joshua Eason, Zach Gower, Keifer Causey, Joseph Miller, Jacob Miller and Marcus Keller. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home, of Piggott, was in charge of the arrangements. Visitation was held Sunday evening at South Thornton Street Church of Christ in Piggott.
