Grace Ann Franklin, 64, of Xenia, Ill., formerly of Piggott, Ark., passed away Friday, January 1, 2021, at the SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Ill.

Grace was born on October 8, 1956, in Flint, Mich., to Luther E. and Joanne (Stuart) Bonner. She married Woody Franklin on April 14, 2017, in Sherwood, Ark.

Grace loved crafts, and was very talented in making them. Some of those she loved to do was quilting, and painting. She loved to decorate for Christmas, and make Christmas crafts, and collecting nutcrackers. Grace attended the Xenia Christian Church.

Grace is survived by her husband, Woody Franklin of Xenia; three children, Andy Graves, of Paragould, Ark., Steven Graves, of Piggott and Denise Jackson, of Osceola, Ark.; two step-children, Woody Franklin, of Lincoln, Ill. and Debbie Beck, of Piggott; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Joanne Fisher, of Sherwood, Ark.; four siblings, Dennis Bonner, of Little Rock, Ark., Doug Bonner, of Sherwood, Dawn Guthridge, of Springdale, Ark., and Dorothy Barton, of Redfield, Ark; half-sister, Sandy Roberts, of Flint, Mich., three sisters-in-law, Cricket Bonner, of Little Rock, Judy Murphy, of Clay City, Ill. and Linda Samuel, of Springfield, Mo.; two brothers-in-law, Bary Franklin, of Marshfield, Mo.and James Steven Noble, of Florida.

Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by her father, and one brother, Doyne Bonner.

Memorial services honoring the life of Grace will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Xenia Christian Church, Xenia, Ill., with Dwight Edgington officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, at the church, where friends may call prior to services. Burial of cremated remains will be held at a later date at Number 4 Cemetery.

McGriff and Triplett Funeral Home, Louisville, Ky., is entrusted with the care and arrangements. Due to health concerns related to COVID-19, it is recommended those attending please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
