These Rector High School students recently were named to the honor roll for all four weeks of the 2021-2022 school year: Seventh grade: All A’s – Colton Haywood, Adam Holmes, Anna Isom, Landon Palmer, Micaela Ward and Rylee Wilburn. Seventh grade: All A’s and B’s - Briana Johnson, Ben Schimming, Anniston Scott, Camryn Snow and Bailey Vangilder.

REGION 8 STORM TEAM VISITS RES

RHS students to attend Boys and Girls State

Four Rector High School students are honored to be recommended and selected as an Arkansas Boys and Girls State delegate. This year’s selected delegates are: Kaley Isom, daughter of Sam and Mandy Isom, and Isabella Mosley, daughter of David and Christina Mosley, for Arkansas Girls State. Landon Haywood, son of Chris and Shannon Haywood, and Evan Holmes, son of Chad and Christin Holmes, for Arkansas Boys State.

Memorial Day closings slated

In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, all federal, state, county and local offices will be closed on Monday, May 30. The closures include both Clay County courthouses, the three county libraries, all local city halls along with state and federal government offices.
