Agricultural producers who have not yet completed their crop acreage reports after spring planting should make an appointment with the Clay County Farm Service Agency (FSA) before the applicable deadline.
Piggott School Board met in a short special session on Tuesday, June 28 at the administrative building with all members present. Minutes of the regular meeting held on Thursday, June 16 was waived. The board then went into executive session.

The 2022 Pollard Picnic will be held Saturday, July 9, at Pollard and will benefit the continued upkeep of the New Hope Cemetery. Conditions were extremely hot for the large crowd in attendance at the 95th annual Piggott Fourth of July Picnic. A variety of carnival rides and activities on the midway were enjoyed by kids of all ages Monday.
