Shipley volunteers at AYE

Whether it is appearing before City Council to propose a way of helping veterans or pushing through double teams on the basketball court, Sam Shipley acts with passion in every endeavor. Sometimes his coaches must “reel him in,” but he’s playing on the field, the diamond, or the court with every ounce of his being.

Piggott students participate in simulator program

Piggott students in Casey Simpson’s ag class were able to get a firsthand experience Friday, Oct. 7, with Farm Bureau’s Ag Tech Simulator. The three simulators located in the trailer included a medium hydraulic excavator, log loader, feller buncher and combine. Skills loading or unloading from a low boy, loading logs, and digging trench are a few of the skills learned from this.
