Piggott Mohawks tournament results, last game for Coach Paul Seegraves
The Piggott Mohawk senior high boys ended their 2023 basketball season at the 3A-3 District Tournament held Monday, Feb. 13 in Osceola. Piggott and Corning met for the fourth time this season and both teams would combine for 20 three point shots. The differ-ence in the game came at the charity stripe. Piggott was 5/ 9 while Corning was 18/29.

Clay County Farm Bureau makes donations
Clay County Farm Bureau President Mark Coleman recently made donations to the Piggott, Rector and Corning Elementary School’s Backpack Programs, and Ag Literacy Books “I Love Strawberries” to the Piggott, Rector and Corning Elementary Libraries along with all the county public libraries.
ASBTDC to offer free classes for small business across NEA
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University will offer several opportunities for online and on-site counseling services for small businesses in March. Participants will learn about starting and growing a small business at workshops held in several counties.

Delta Symphony Orchestra welcomes Limmie Pulliam
Delta Symphony Orchestra along with conductor Dr. Neale Bartee welcomes nationally- known tenor, Limmie Pulliam, back to the Riceland Hall stage in the Fowler Center on the AState campus in Jonesboro. The concert is set for 2 p.m. Sunday, March 19.
